MEET YOUR THERAPIST
PATRICK DOOLEY
Owner, DPT, OCS

A familiar face to many in our community, Patrick has been providing dedicated physical therapy care in Pella for over 17 years.
Originally from Marshalltown (Go Bobcats!), Patrick’s journey in athletics and healthcare began at Central College, where he played football and earned his degree in Athletic Training. He went on to pursue his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Iowa. Throughout his nearly two decades of practice, Patrick’s primary mission has remained the same: helping his neighbors get back to doing the activities they love most.
Patrick’s commitment to our clinic is truly a family affair. He works alongside his wife, Lizzie, our Business Operations Coordinator, and they stay busy at home raising their three wonderful children: Zoey, Nevin, and Nola. When he’s not in the clinic, you can find Patrick staying active with his own workouts, playing a round of golf, manning the grill, enjoying family movie nights, or cheering on the Dallas Cowboys!
Fun Fact: Patrick’s dedication to patient care is deeply personal. Having undergone 14 orthopedic surgeries himself—including 11 on his left knee (resulting in a total knee replacement), two back surgeries, and one shoulder surgery—he brings a rare and empathetic perspective to the treatment table. He credits these experiences with helping him truly understand the challenges his patients face and enabling him to provide more compassionate, effective care.
RACHEL LITTLE
DPT
certifications:
pelvic floor level 2 certified
dry needling certified

A native of Groton, South Dakota, Rachel’s journey south eventually led her to Knoxville, Iowa, where she currently resides. Rachel earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of South Dakota before completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska
.
Having practiced in Iowa for the past three years, Rachel brings a wealth of clinical experience and a deep passion for helping her patients regain function so they can get back to doing the things they love. She holds a special interest in Women’s and Pelvic Health, dedicated to providing individualized, compassionate care for every patient who walks through our doors.
When she isn’t in the clinic, Rachel loves staying active through weightlifting and spending quality time with her friends and family. She has been married to her husband, Austin, for a year, and the two are eagerly preparing to welcome their first child this August. At home, you can often find her reading or snuggling with their two dogs, Mac and Mace.
Fun Fact: During her final physical therapy clinical rotation in 2023, Rachel spent a month in the Dominican Republic. Her biggest takeaway from that experience was: You will never get the time back—so take a minute, pull up a chair, and have a chat.
ROB BLOM
PTA, ATC

A lifelong resident of Pella, Rob is a cornerstone of our clinical team, bringing over 32 years of dedicated experience to the physical therapy field. His clinical foundation is both robust and versatile; he earned his Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree from Indian Hills and went on to become a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) through Central College.
Rob finds deep fulfillment in treating a wide variety of patients and conditions, though he holds a special appreciation for serving the elderly population with care and respect. He also brings a unique level of expertise to our clinic regarding endurance sports. As an avid trail runner himself, he has a passion for helping runners of all ages reach their goals—a highlight for him was visiting the legendary “Yellow Gate” at the Barkley Marathons!
Family is at the heart of everything Rob does. He and his wife, Sandy, have been married for 33 years and have raised three adult children: their twin daughters, Morgan and Riggen, and their son, Caleb. Outside of the clinic, Rob loves cheering on his favorite teams, spending time out on Lake Red Rock, and traveling across the country with Sandy to compete in trail races.
